CB Insights is one of the most respected global tech research firms. As a business analytics platform and global database, it provides market intelligence to inform investors. 

The research team analysed over 17,000 startups, using a rigorous, data-driven process to identify the 100 most promising up-and-coming AI players. It based the scoring on technical innovation, market traction, capital backing, patent strategy, ecosystem engagement, and its proprietary Mosaic score.

This is the 9th annual AI 100: a ranking of the world’s top emerging AI companies, from observability to infrastructure security to vertical AI agents. It’s designed to cut through this noise and highlight the next wave of AI winners, with a focus on early-stage players that are showing strength in terms of market traction, investor quality, and talent.
